Since commencing business in 1994, she has dressed well over 5000 brides, every bride is accompanied by an average of 2 to 3 brides’ maids, the total number of dressings well exceeds 10,000. Her popularity & extensive indulgence in the industry resulted in Bernie being voted the most popular Beautician in Colombo in 2010 at the Nawaliya Kumarika Awards 2010. And voted among the Top ten beauticians of 2011 at Nawaliya Kumarika awards 2011

Bernie Commenced her studies in Hair & Beauty in 1993 enrolling at Technique International.

‌A significant event in her life in 1993 was the participation in Ms. Sri Lanka where she was 3rd runner up.

‌Successfully completed Advanced Diploma Course in Hair Dressing & Beauty Culture at Technique International in 1994

‌Commenced professional Hair & Beauty Services in mid-1994 ,Presently at 76 A/1, Templers Road, Mount Lavinia.
